There is a point between Spring and Summer where the weather is perfect. I am getting ready for the day after that when fans are a necessity to keeping the house cool at night.
I found this little toy soldier in a corner outside our house. It looks like he died defending our home. In a way it makes me think about all the veterans of this country we live in. They have given the ultimate sacrifice so that freedom is maintained.
It was warm today. With alot of the sno melted we went out and let the kids play on the playground behind our building. Kate sat listening to a book on MP3 player, while soaking up the warm rays of the sun.
I wonder what that's like. Personally I would be too afraid that some prankster would give it a tip once I was comfortable. (two orange porta potties way up high)
Two weeks ago the mud on the mountain didn't stop me; it was the rear derailleur getting caught in the wheel and then snapping in half that stopped me.
My wife and I spent the afternoon doing nothing in particular. Here we are tickling our daughter and listening to her giggle with pure enjoyment over and over again.
There is a scripture in the Doctrine and Covenants section 130 verses 18 -19 that reads:
"18-Whatever principle of intelligence we attain unto in this life, it will rise with us in the resurrection.
19-And if a person gains more knowledge and intelligence in this life through his diligence and obedience than another, he will have so much the advantage in the world to come."
That is the reason I am living in England and attending the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham. I am working on a MFA in Photography in order to further my secular intelligence. Additionally I am learning more than I ever thought I would about having faith in God and where he leads us in life.
I graduated from Brigham Young University Idaho with a degree in Recreation Management and a minor in Photography. If I am not photographing, then you can find me running, mountain biking, or spending time with my family.
